Live Roulette Winning Payouts

Friday, April 2nd, 2010

Live roulette is a random game, where the spins are independent of each other and not affected by any spins that have happened in the past.  Much like the toss of a coin, the winning number at roulette is purely luck, with no skill needed.  With that being said, you can learn to play live roulette smartly so that you can play longer and have more fun.

The most effective give for gamblers gry sloty za darmo book of ra . Can come on. Elevated prospect of winning!

The first thing to understand is that you can’t improve the odds in live roulette.  The house edge is 2.7%, and very little in the game can change that.  There are a couple of exceptions to that rule, like “surrender” or the “quint bet”, which is only possible on a wheel with a double zero.    While “surrender” can be beneficial to the player by cutting the odds for the house in half, the “quint bet”  should be avoided at all costs.

There are several betting options in live roulette that are included the combination bets and straight bets. The roulette layout contains a total of 48 boxes on which you can place your wagers.  There is one box for each number on the roulette wheel, which is colored red, black, or green, to match the number’s color on the wheel.  There are also eleven boxes around the perimeter of the layout for special bets, like red/black, even/ odd, high/low, three groups of “12’s”, and the columns.

Combination bets are made by placing a chip (or chips) on either a single number or group of numbers on the roulette table layout.  The combination bets include inside bets, split bets, street bets, quad bets, quint bets, and double street bets.  These bets each payout differently on the winning number, as indicated on the chart below.  If you have a wager on the winning number, the bank will pay 35 to 1.  A bet placed between two numbers pays 17 to 1, on three numbers at one time pays 11 to 1, on four numbers at once pays 8 to 1, on five numbers (0,00,1,2,3) pays 6 to 1, and a bet on six numbers pays 5 to 1.

When betting on the outside line bets, like red/black, low (1-18)/high (19-36), or even/odd, then the bank will pay even money on a winning spot.  If the winning the number is green, then all of the “even money” bets are lost unless you are playing in a casino that offers surrender.  With a winning bet on the “down” (1 through 12, 13 through 24, or 25 through 36) or on the column, then the bank will payout two to one.

Even Money Red/Black
Low 1 to 18
High 19 to 36
Even/Odd
Pay 2 to 1 On the down (1 to 12, 13 to 24, 25 to 36)
On the column
Pay 5 to 1 On either of 6 numbers, one of which wins
Pays 6 to 1 On either of 5 numbers, one of which wins (This is only possible with 0, 00, 1, 2, 3)
Pays 8 to 1 On either of 4 numbers, one of which wins
Pays 11 to 1 On either of 3 numbers, one of which wins
Pays 17 to 1 On either of 2 numbers, one of which wins
Pays 35 to 1 On the number

Some live roulette tables in the UK will allow you to split up your inside bets to meet the minimum required bet, but you will never be allowed to split the outside bets.  TLive Roulette at PaddyPowerhis would mean that with a €5 minimum bet posted, you could split up your inside bets to five €1 bets, or a €2 and €3 bet.  If you decide that you want to place an outside bet, each bet will need to be at least €5 to meet the minimum.

Learn To Play Live Roulette

Live roulette is played pretty much the same way in the United Kingdom as it is played in any casino around the world.   A special wheel is used, along with a roulette layout, and of course, the betting chips.  A dealer is placed at each table to manage the bets and the roulette wheel.  As the wheel spins, the dealer throws the small ball against the rim, which then circles until the wheel slows down.  When this happens the ball comes to rest on one of the numbers, which is declared the winning number.  The object of live roulette is to guess which number the small ivory ball will land on when the roulette wheel slows down or comes to a stop.Live Roulette at LuckyLive Casino

The roulette wheel is divided into 37 sections, which are numbered 1 to 36.  Half of these numbers are red and half are black, half are odd and half are even.  There is also a section on the wheel for a zero, which is colored green.  Most casinos in the UK and Europe offer live roulette with a single zero, while roulette in the US has the addition of a double zero, which is also green in color.  This extra zero increases the odds in favor of the house by almost double.

Roulette is a banking game, with all players wagering against the house.  The players place chips on the table layout and bet on a number, a group of numbers, or a color.  This is the only table game that does not use regular casino chips, but uses special chips that are used in roulette only.  This is because bets are placed on the table layout, not in front of each player.  A different system is needed to keep track of all of the players bets, which are scattered throughout the layout.  You can purchase your own roulette chips when you “sit” at a table, and you determine the denomination of your chips when you make your purchase.  Each player has a different color chip so that the dealer can keep track of who to pay when a chip is on a winning spot.

Live Roulette at DublinBetEach roulette table has maximum and minimum table limits that are clearly posted.  When you place your bets, you must make sure that you meet the minimum requirement for the table, and you cannot go over the maximum bet allowed.  It is a good idea to look at these limits when you log into a live roulette game to make sure that the table limits will meet all of your needs.

Whether you play roulette at a live dealer online casino or in a brick and mortar casino, you will find more enjoyment in the game by setting limits for yourself before sitting at a table.  Time limits or monetary limits that are predetermined before you start to play will keep you from spending more than you can afford to lose.  Remember that live roulette should be fun and enjoyable.
